Lyrics:- 'Celebrate it, Anticipate it, Yesterday's faded' - Hollis & Friese-Greene
Song Choice:- I've chosen a fair bit of Talk Talk over the years and they're a bit of a forgotten soldier I believe.
Anyway, this is a great song that's really well known and well worth another listen. It's also got a great message that's only too real for all of us to take heed of, as you never know what's around 'Life's Corner'.
Fighting talk eh? - and that's all it is as there's nothing worse than talking on and on about wishing you could do something, and then only ever talking about it and doing @@@@ all about it.
'All trousers no action' as my mother would say - and I wouldn't argue with her if I were you.
Then again, why argue with anyone if you are right and you are only wasting more valuable time where you could be changing your world and not necessarily anyone else's. I would always advocate getting one's own life in order before setting about those around you. A speck in their eye and a plank in your own etc...
Anyway, Life is an adventure. What's your next adventure going to be? Giving up booze (well done Q for sticking at it, when it got tough)? Getting out of debt? Buying a dream home? Getting married? Having kids? Being happy for once? Being a good parent? Feeling fulfilled? Owning up to your faults and laughing at them in the knowledge that you've got more pluses than minuses? Eating some proper food? Listening rather than speaking as it's more Listen Listen than Talk Talk in the real world as Talk is cheap my friends.
More tomorrow...and see you at Druid Challenge this weekend. :-)
