Stop - The Pink Floyd

Lyric:- Have I been guilty all this time? - Waters

Song Choice:- Possibly one of the shortest songs I've ever chosen but now I'm nearing the end of my 'Wall Series' of Blogs, this 'Stop' leads quite nicely into tomorrow's longer and bizarre 'The Trial' , the penultimate track on the album.

Feeling Guilty's a strange thought as we all are, or have been 'Guilty' for most of our lives about one thing or another or in fact will be for the rest of our lives. Lots of folk spend their whole life feeling 'guilty'... It's funny just how much we say 'Sorry'... For instance someone bumps into you in the street, it's all their fault and what do WE say? Yep, 'Sorry' not 'What the **** are you doing you blind ****, which later on we wish we might have said.

Maybe we are more 'Guilty' than this, with our 'Time'... You know... When we go away on holiday or have time out at the MdS say and come back with fresh intentions of more time with the family and less time embroiled in work related anarchy only for it to last a couple of weeks.

Yet it's so hard not to get caught up in all that ****.

Ever been to buy something only to be up-sold from a second hand Mini Cooper to a brand new Mini Cooper JCW Works (I could have chosen Porsche here but ALL Porsche Drivers know they are Guilty of Car Envy and already know the Porsche:£ ratio before they shop) or a 42 inch TV to a 65 inch 4K with massive sound bar, all singing and dancing and not knowing how you got to doubling your budget? It's amazing how we can be 'Guilty' of upping the ante.

If you are Guilty with cash, try On-line Supermarket shopping instead of going to the Store and you'll spend half as much as it takes out the impulse section of buying where one's serotonin gets agitated and we buy stuff we don't really need.

Where am I going with this Blog? Well who knows as I'm just as 'Guilty' as anyone else using my time to write daily conundrums of brain-bursting ramblings that ease my mind about my own inner thoughts and failings.

When did you put yourself on Trial last and truly think about what the heck you are doing in your life?

I'll be doing just that tomorrow... More then.
