'I heat up, I can't cool down' - Steve Miller
I've been doing both today in part of my warming up and cooling down for exercise programming. It was again in the form of a 5 minute bike (yes bike!) to get my legs turning over before the ravages of my regular Power Hour slot.
It really helped too as the Power Hour didn't seem THAT bad and I felt quite majestic as I finished the 3 hour long 60 minute running session.
This new approach to recovery as that's what I need right now is opening my mind to a more intensive approach to my running which I can then pass on to my clients - beware, you red that here first.
